The next three volumes of the MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Stories are due in November and fans can get big discounts and unique rewards in the Volume XXII-XIV Kickstarter.
Each day we'll be highlighting one of the dozens of authors of the 64 new stories in the new volumes.
Today is Mark Mower (click here for Amazon profile) who also appeared in many previous volumes.
THE PARADOL CHAMBER
Holmes is commissioned by the colourful and flamboyant Anthony Kildare to investigate some threats to the board members – or Paradol Chamber - of the Prévost-Paradol Society, a social, literary and debating club, situated in London’s Belgravia. What transpires is a lively tale of fraud, revenge and murder, and a race in time to prevent further deaths.
Mark's favourite Holmes quote is:
“From a drop of water a logician could infer the possibility of an Atlantic or a Niagara without having seen or heard of one or the other. So all life is a great chain, the nature of which is known whenever we are shown a single link of it. Like all others arts, the Science of Deduction and Analysis is one which can only be acquired by long and patient study…”
A Study in Scarlet, Chapter 2, ‘The Science of Deduction’.
