The MX Book - The Sherlockian Interview - Naching T Kassa
Posted by Steve Emecz on
The MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Stories - Volumes XXXI-XXXIII is currently running on Kickstarter and we're interviewing the contributors. Next up is Naching T. Kassa.
1. Please tell us a little bit about yourself, and your story.
My name is Naching T. Kassa and I'm a wife, mother, and writer. I'm a member of the Horror Writers Association and Mystery Writers of America. I also belong to several Sherlock Holmes societies, including: The Sound of the Baskervilles, The Sherlock Holmes Society of London, the ACD Society and the Crew of the Barque Lone Star.
My story concerns a client who's come to Holmes with a rather interesting problem. He's inherited a human skull along with the house his father left him.
2. Why did you want to participate in this project?
I love the fact that these wonderful books support Undershaw. I can't think of a worthier cause than aiding these amazing kids.
Also, David Marcum is a terrific editor. It's a great pleasure to work with him.
3. What are your current and upcoming projects?
Currently, I'm working on a book for Crystal Lake Publishing with John Linwood Grant and Angela Yuriko Smith. We're each in the process of writing a novella for this book which concerns--who else--Sherlock Holmes!
4. Any last thoughts?
Everyone should support this Kickstarter and these kids!
