The MX Book - Sherlockian Author Interview - Roger Riccard
Posted by Steve Emecz on
The MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Stories - Volumes XXXI-XXXIII is currently running on Kickstarter and we're interviewing the contributors. First up is Roger Riccard.
1. Please tell us a little bit about yourself, and your story.
As an American descendant of Scottish lairds with a double major and Bachelor degrees in Journalism and History. I like to include some historical or geographical information to helo educate the readers on life in Great Britain in the Victorian/Edwardian ages. This story gave me the opportunity to tie in the politics of Cornwall, the Legend of the Hurlers Stones and the Beast of Bodmin Moor, which still rears its head from time to time. It also made a nice sequel to the Hound of the Baskervilles.
2. Why did you want to participate in this project?
I wanted to add my contributions to the legacy of Sherlock Holmes as well as participate in the worthy cause of supporting Stepping Stones.
3. What are your current and upcoming projects?
I recently completed the five volume series 'A Sherlock HolmesAlphabet of Cases'. This autumn will see the first in a new series, 'The Colourful Cases of Sherlock Holmes'
4. Any last thoughts?
I just feel privileged to be included in this group of outstanding authors who are dedicated to keeping the stories of Sherlock Holmes alive and well in the 21st century.
You can find most of his books on his Roger Riccard Amazon USA page.
