May turned out to be a very rare month with three Sherlock Holmes novels making the top five. The rest of the Top 25 is still dominated by short story collections but one new novel (from Tony Boyle) and both Ken Courtenay novels made the top of the list. The competition is hotting up in May in the Sherlock Holmes Audiobook Chart with one of the top Sherlock Holmes short story anthologies just holding off a new collection. Bucking the long term trend of short story collections dominating, three novels are currently in the top 5 - something that hasn't happened for several years.
