With the upcoming launch of volumes 43-45 of The MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Stories (currently on Kickstarter), we're talking to the authors involved. Today, the final day of the Kickstarter it's Paul Hiscock.
Tell us a little about yourself – Where you live and your main hobbies.
I live in Kent, England, with my wife and two children, and run a local writing group, Novelling Kent. In addition to Sherlock Holmes adventures, I also write science fiction, fantasy and horror stories. When I am not writing or reading I also enjoy singing and playing the cornet.

My story is called ’The Beast of Birling Gap’ and finds Holmes investigating reports of a mysterious creature near his retirement home on the Sussex Downs.
What other projects have you recently completed that we can check out?
My most recent publications are two contributions to the Sherlock Holmes: A Year of Mystery series. ’The Light of Liberty’ is set in 1885, while ’The Siege of Baker Street is set in 1886. I also recently took a side step into the world of H.P. Lovecraft with a Sherlock Holmes mystery entitled ’The Case of the London Particular’
