2025 was a huge year for audiobooks, with sales outstripping print and ebook combined for Sherlock Holmes stories. It was a year of short stories and Denis Smith's The Six Thirteen from Fairfield Junction and Other Cases of Sherlock Holmes was the most popular collection. The whole top ten was filled with traditional tales and Tracy Revels Tales of Light, Shadow and Darkness all made the chart. The results are in for December and for the first time in several years a novel tops the charts. Congratulations to Ken Courtenay and Kevin Green - The Case of The Man Who Died Twice has been a real hit with fans. Ken's second novel is on Kickstarter at the moment - A Quarter Turn Of The Knife and we're hopeful that Kevin will once again narrate the 2nd book. The children of the Fifth Earl of Convarran ask Holmes and Watson to find their father, missing since returning to England from an archaeological dig in Egypt. Other members of the expedition are either missing or are murdered. Holmes is attacked, and Watson is kidnapped before the truth is revealed.
