The new volumes of the MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Stories on Kickstarter this November include another huge name from the world of Sherlock Holmes - Sherlock Holmes The Baker Street Years.
Frank Darabont was born in a refugee camp in Europe, the son of Hungarian parents who had fled their homeland during the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. Brought to America as an infant, Frank attended Hollywood High School, class of 1977.
He is a three-time Oscar nominated filmmaker whose feature film credits as writer/director include The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. In television, he created the hit series The Walking Dead. Most recently, he directed two episodes for the final season of the Netflix show Stranger Things.

Frank has been a lifelong lover of Sherlock Holmes stories, having discovered at age 9 the completed works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle at his local public library. Frank is honored that the very first Holmes story he’s ever written appears in this MX volume - Sherlock Holmes The Baker Street Years.
