Book Launch - Sherlock And Irene
Posted by Steve Emecz on
Today is the launch of a very interesting book. 'Sherlock and Irene' tells the secret truth behind A Scandal In Bohemia, through the eyes of Sherlockian expert (and writer for The Strand magazine) Chris Chan. From the back cover: "To Sherlock Holmes, Irene Adler is "the woman." In "A Scandal in Bohemia," she defeated him in his attempt to retrieve an incriminating photograph of the King of Bohemia. Or did she? In the tradition of "The Great Game," this book will explore the unanswered questions in "A Scandal in Bohemia," illustrating that there is much more to the case than...

A Case of Witchcraft is a decided oddity, but well written (in the third person) and thoroughly researched."...
