To celebrate the Kickstarter for Volumes 46-48 of the MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Stories we're interview the contributors.
Today it's Paul Hiscock.
Tell us a little about yourself – Where you live and your main hobbies.
I live in Orpington on the London/Kent border in South East England with my wife and two children. In addition to writing, I sing and play the trumpet, cornet and flugelhorn.

What’s the name of your story in this collection, and what is it about (with no spoilers)?
My story is The Ghost of Mycroft Holmes, which appears in volume 48. Mycroft's friends and colleagues gather to mourn his death. Among them is his neighbour Mr. Melas. who comes to Sherlock Holmes with a supernatural mystery. Holmes famously said, “No ghosts need apply.” However, will he take the case when the spirit in question is that of his own brother?

What other projects have you recently completed that we can check out?
I have written a couple of stories about Holmes’s school and university days, which will appear in The Denarian Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (currently on Kickstarter). Another early adventure set during his brief career as an actor will is appear in Sherlock Holmes Takes the Stage. Then in Sherlock Holmes and the Great Lady Detectives, Holmes teams up with the first female detective in English literature, Ruth the Betrayer.
