Sherlockian Interview - Brenda Seabrooke

Posted by Steve Emecz on

To celebrate the Kickstarter for Volumes 46-48 of the MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Stories we're interview the contributors.

Today it's Brenda Seabrooke.

I live on the Shenandoah National Park mountain. My hobbies are my way of life living with pets - dog, cat, pet hens - and a lot of wildlife - possums, black bears (from the park) deer - and growing things - trees, houseplants, flowers. And, of course, reading.

What’s the name of your story in this collection, and what is it about (with no spoilers)?

I have two stories in these collections. A Penny for the Guy involves the beginning of that bombastic English holiday Guy Fawkes Day and one of the Baker Street Irregulers. The Boarding House Adventure begins with the murder of an innocuous boarder who collects stamps.

What other projects have you recently completed that we can check out?

My latest book is Sherlock Holmes: The Crimson Trail and Other Stories published by MX.
