Reacher and Sherlock

Lee Child's Jack Reacher books have sold over 100 million copies worldwide, there have been two blockbuster movies with Tom Cruise and now a major Amazon series 'Reacher' coming in Feb 2022.
Author Lee Child this week joined MX's Steve Emecz for an exclusive interview covering the character and discussing the new 'Reacher' series through the lens of Sherlock Holmes. They discuss the links between the characters, the appeal of Holmes and Lee's time at Granada Studios with Jeremy Brett.
As the title of the interview suggests, they cover ground rarely explored and provide a fascinating insight on Conan Doyle's influence on modern crime fiction. It will be a delight for both Holmes and Reacher fans as they touch on a host of subjects including the casting of Alan Ritchson in the lead role and Lee's preference when it comes to modern writers of Sherlock Holmes stories.
The interview is available exclusively as part of the brand new MX Publishing Audio Collection on Soundwise. Subscribers get access to interviews, theatre and Sherlock Holmes stories every month. For the launch until the end of December there is a 20% lifetime discount on the monthly subscription with the code 'launch'.
