Books to Books 2023

Following the success of our 2020 #bookstotrees campaign, where we funded 1,000 trees at Happy Life Mission in Kenya, in August 2020 we launched #bookstobooks.
With the expansion of the Happy Life schools, the team are providing education not just for the 160 kids at Happy Life, but also hundreds more from the local community. One of the most challenging things to fund is curriculum schoolbooks which are expensive to import into Kenya.
With our #bookstobooks project, we have funded hundreds of schoolbooks. Every $50 spent on the MX Publishing website we have donated $5 (the average cost of a schoolbook) to Happy Life Misson.
As of end of 2022 we've reached 1,300 books so far ($6,500 donated). A massive thanks to all our authors and editors for supporting the project.
Books To Trees
Through the amazing support of our Sherlock Holmes fans we became a carbon positive publisher with #bookstotrees and delivered a fantastic programme for Happy Life. On our latest update from Kenya in December, we saw hundreds of of the trees growing fast - especially the banana trees.
