Sherlock Holmes Audio - The Adventure of The Aspen Papers
The noted American author Henry James requests the help of Sherlock Holmes in finding an American professor who has gone missing. The professor had come to England in search of a set if seventy-year-old letters between the celebrated poet, Jeremy Bishop Aspen, and a beautiful young woman. Though Aspen himself has long since died, the woman, now quite old, lives with her niece in a run-down manor house in the south of London. Holmes discovers that by wooing the niece, the missing professor has hoped for access to the letters, an acquisition that will establish his literary career. When greed gets the better of him, however, there is no telling what he will do to the two women who stand in his way.
