Sherlock Holmes Society of London Mike Foy's second book of Sherlockian illustrations has been a real eye-opener for me as it has exposed me to artists whose work I had seen (and some I had not) but didn't really appreciate. The book is best described as post-Paget. It is covering artists both UK and international that were working on Holmes at the same time as Sidney Paget or after as a direct result of his death. Last night UK time, and very early Sunday morning Melbourne time I was delighted to interview Margaret Walsh on launch day for her first collection of Sherlock Holmes Short Stories - The Adventure of the Bloody Duck and other tales of Sherlock Holmes. Margaret already has three successful Sherlock Holmes novels and this is the first collection of stories that have appeared in various anthologies.
