The Artist Andrea Perez Bessin grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Andrea moved to Rhode Island to attend Brown University where they acquired a degree in Biology. On their last semester, an introductory visual arts course inspired a change in vocation. Pérez Bessin enrolled in Rhode Island College and graduated in December 2017 with a BFA in Printmaking.
