About Gem Sleuth
Gem Sleuth is a small online jewellery retailer, originally founded in memory of a late family member, Christina Whitehouse, who knew a thing or two about gemstones. Inspired by the vibrant colours and natural textures of gemstones, she built up a large collection of new and vintage pieces over her lifetime. Bought largely as an investment, most of the jewellery you'll find here are one-offs, sold as new or open boxed, still tagged and in their original packaging.
Today, Gem Sleuth sells a combination of fine jewellery from established brands like Gemporia and TJC, as well as one-off vintage pieces going back to the 1950s. And being owned by MX Publishing, the world's largest publisher of authentic Sherlock Holmes stories, Gem Sleuth also sources other timeless gems, all inspired by the character and adventures of the legendary Sleuth.
