Sherlockian Author Profile - Robert V Stapleton
Robert V. Stapleton, was born in Leeds, England, and after working as an Anglican clergyman in various parts of England, he is now retired and lives with his wife in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, an area of the country made famous by the writings of James Herriot.
He is a member of the local creative writing group, Thirsk Write Now (TWN), and has written a number of Sherlock Holmes pastiches, and other stories, many of which have been included in publications by MX Publishing and Belanger Books.
Robert has three collections of Sherlock Holmes stories, Sherlock Holmes: A Yorkshireman in Baker Street; and The Gravesend Gryphon and other Sherlock Holmes Stories and Lady Dragonfly and Other Sherlock Holmes Stories.
