#49 - The Skull of Kohada Koheiji by artist Ibrahim Gailani
The Art of Sherlock Holmes Based on a story by author Mike Hogan
The Story
Despite Holmes' injunction, clients troubled with vampires, apparitions, mummies and disembodied skulls did mount the thirteen steps at 221B Baker street and apply to his agency and he was reluctantly obliged to investigate their claims. In this particular story, all is not well at the great Japanese Native Village Exhibition at Humphrey's Hall in Knightsbridge, West London in 1885. A ghostly apparition has frightened the Japanese artisans whose wares, pastimes and arts are exhibited, and a powerful Samurai leads a faction who hate being the object of stares from the gaijin customers and who are determined to return to Japan. The impresario Tannaker Buhicrosan turns to Sherlock Holmes for help.
