The Art of Sherlock Holmes Based on a story by author Richard K Tobin
The Story
It seems there had been trouble in paradise. A Tahitian prostitute had been murdered but not before she stole a small fortune in black pearls. The trouble was these pearls were destined for the estate of one of the wealthiest families in Britain. The pearls must be recovered or one of England’s society events of the year would be tainted. The pearls were expected to adorn the wedding dress of a woman whose son was to marry the daughter of the rich British family. It was South African diamond and gold wealth marrying into nobility so appearances were of critical importance, Of course, only the best detective in the country was hired for this investigation. On seeing the near impossible choice of recovering the pearls, Holmes and Dr. Watson, must be at their best. Holmes, with his vast lore of knowledge and his grasp on the criminal mind soon baited a trap for the guilty party. Along the investigative journey more than a few challenges suggested to Holmes and Watson this was no ordinary crime.
