Orlando Pearson is the author of The Redacted Sherlock Holmes series which presents works too scandalous to publish in the lifetime of the Great Detective. Volume VI of the series includes The Sorceress and the Sea-Lord which features Sir Joseph Porter from HMS Pinafore and real-life French composer Augusta Holmès who lived from 1846 to 1903. She wrote a thousand works including three operas and one-hundred-and thirty songs mostly setting her own texts.
