Sherlock Holmes Books Fund Over 1,000 Meals in 2025

We're delighted to share that our ShareTheMeal program where every Sherlock Holmes book bought on our website generates a meal for the World Food Programme has passed 1,000 meals for 2025.
A massive thanks to Bernhard Kowatsch and the team at the WFP's innovation accelerator for bringing innovations like ShareTheMeal to the forefront. Our founder Steve Emecz has been working with the WFP as an external advisory council member for several years and regularly visits Munich for the Accelerator events.
We've been running the #booksformeals program for a couple of years now and we have fantastic feedback from both the fans buying the books and the authors that write them.
At the time of writing, ShareTheMeal has delivered over 281 million meals around the world. It's so easy to get involved - just download the ShareTheMeal app on to your phone and you can feed someone for about $1.
We'd also encourage all online retailers to have a similar program - its so easy to do and has such a big impact.
